Meet with client and agree the outline scheme.

Make Planning Application, if required, and/or make application for Certificate of Lawful Development and Listed Building Consent.
Detailed drawings:
Prepare detailed drawings in conjunction with Structural Engineer.
Make application under Building Regulations.
Specification of the Works:
Prepare Specification of Works and Construction drawings.
Tender:
Tender the works.
Appointment of a Contractor:
Advise on the appointment of a contractor.
Operations on Site:
Inspect the Quality and Progress of the Works on Site.
Administer the contract.
Cost Control:
Projects under £200,000, undertaken in house.
Projects over £200,000, undertaken by quantity surveyor.
Surveys:
Measure the property and prepare survey drawings of the property as existing.
